With a practice employing a strong emphasis of on-site accounting assistance and problem resolution, Deborah has been providing accounting, tax, business consulting, and software training services for over 15 years. She works with small and medium sized companies helping them grow their businesses, minimize their tax obligations, and retain the benefits of their hard work. As she explains:

Through on-going education, with special attention to tax savings, Deborah keeps abreast of the latest changes in tax codes, typically resulting in significant savings of tax dollars. One such area is through selection of the right business structure that will provide the most favorable tax treatment (S-Corporation, C-Corporation, Partnership, LLC, etc.).
Deborah is licensed as a certified public accountant by the South Carolina Board of Accountancy and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina, with an emphasis in Accounting from Coastal Carolina University. She is a member of the South Carolina Association of CPAs, as well as the Grand Strand Chapter.
Kathy has over 25 years of experience in both governmental and public accounting/auditing. Prior to South Carolina, she worked for ten years as an auditor for the Commonwealth of Virginia – Auditor of Public Accounts division. Kathy provides accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, and tax preparation services; concentrating primarily in non-profit and CIRA entities. Kathy graduated from Longwood University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and is a Certified Internal Systems Auditor.
Katherine is a professional with over 25 years of experience in accounting and property management. Katherine attended Coastal Carolina University and studied accounting and business management. She has extensive knowledge in payroll processing and reporting, as well as monthly bookkeeping services. Katherine also provides administrative support in the auditing and tax areas within the firm.
Katherine has extensive experience in public accounting, the majority with local and regional accounting firms in South Carolina and Virginia, where she was a tax preparer, small business consultant and auditor. She also served as the controller for two tech start-ups where, in addition to accounting, she took ownership of creating processes to enhance and better integrate finance, IT and human resource departments. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York with a major in Public Administration, and a Master of Arts in Historic Preservation degree from Goucher College. She is a member of the Institute for Management Accountants.
Marcus is a graduate student pursuing his Master of Accountancy degree at Coastal Carolina University. Marcus earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting in 2019. He anticipates pursuing his CPA credentials and will begin sitting for the CPA exam in 2020. Marcus is a member of the South Carolina Association of CPAs, National Association of Black Accountants, and President of Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honor Society. Marcus graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2019 and is Volunteer Income Tax Assistance certified.
Maggie is a graduate from the Master of Accountancy program at Coastal Carolina University. Originally from Poland, she attended the Warsaw School of Economics and obtained a Master degree in Finance and Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Lazarski University. She plans on pursuing her CPA credentials and will start sitting for the exam in 2020. She is currently in the process of obtaining her ACCA accreditation. Maggie is a member of the South Carolina Association of CPAs and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and is Volunteer Income Tax Assistance certified. Maggie previously interned at Ernst and Young in the fraud investigation and dispute services department in Warsaw, Poland. She has also previously worked as an accountant and analyst for a company dealing with alternative investments such as precious metals.
Lori has been a shareholder in two small businesses where, for 18 years, she was responsible for all bookkeeping, including payroll, sales tax and financial reporting. For the past 10 years, she has worked with large medical practices in an administrative capacity. Lori attended Westchester Community College and studied chemistry. Lori provides administrative support in the auditing and tax areas within the firm.
