Deborah M. Weir, CPA, LLC, a Myrtle Beach CPA firm, is a full-service accounting, tax planning, tax preparation and business advisory firm. We partner with you to identify the goals and objectives you have for your business and work with you to achieve those goals.

DEBORAH M. WEIR, CPA

With a practice employing a strong emphasis of on-site accounting assistance and problem resolution, Deborah has been providing accounting, tax, business consulting, and software training services for over 25 years. She works with small and medium sized companies helping them grow their businesses, minimize their tax obligations, and retain the benefits of their hard work. As she explains:

Through on-going education, with special attention to tax savings, Deborah keeps abreast of the latest changes in tax codes, typically resulting in significant savings of tax dollars. One such area is through selection of the right business structure that will provide the most favorable tax treatment (S-Corporation, C-Corporation, Partnership, LLC, etc.).

Deborah is licensed as a certified public accountant by the South Carolina Board of Accountancy and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina, with an emphasis in Accounting from Coastal Carolina University. She is a member of the South Carolina Association of CPAs, the Grand Strand Chapter and the North Carolina Association of CPAs.


KATHY HAWLEY

Kathy has over 25 years of experience in both governmental and public accounting/auditing. Prior to South Carolina, she worked for ten years as an auditor for the Commonwealth of Virginia – Auditor of Public Accounts division. Kathy provides accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, and tax preparation services; concentrating primarily in non-profit and CIRA entities. Kathy graduated from Longwood University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and is a Certified Internal Systems Auditor.

KATHERINE HARDWICK

Katherine is a professional with over 25 years of experience in accounting and property management. Katherine attended Coastal Carolina University and studied accounting and business management. She has extensive knowledge in payroll processing and reporting, as well as monthly bookkeeping services. Katherine also provides administrative support in the auditing and tax areas within the firm.

MAGGIE MEJER

Maggie is a graduate from the Master of Accountancy program at Coastal Carolina University and holds CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) credentials. Originally from Poland, she attended the Warsaw School of Economics and obtained a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Lazarski University. Maggie is a vital member of the audit team and provides tax preparation and bookkeeping services. Her background includes an Ernst and Young internship in fraud investigation and dispute services in Warsaw, Poland, as well as roles in accounting and analysis for a company specializing in precious metals and alternative investments.


Lori-Nonnemacher

LORI NONNEMACHER

Lori has been a shareholder in two small businesses where, for 18 years, she was responsible for all bookkeeping, including payroll, sales tax and financial reporting. For the past 10 years, she has worked with large medical practices in an administrative capacity. Lori attended Westchester Community College and studied chemistry. Lori provides administrative support in the auditing and tax areas within the firm.


Stephanie-Roa

STEPHANIE ROA, CPA

Stephanie passed the CPA exam and became licensed in 2023. She is a 2019 graduate from the Master of Accountancy program at Coastal Carolina University and also obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Coastal Carolina University in 2018. She has experience in regional public accounting, focusing on business and individual tax preparation. She also has corporate consulting experience including local and international companies.


Chris Handl

CHRIS HANDL

Chris is currently a senior at Coastal Carolina University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree with plans to continue at CCU to complete his Master of Accountancy by 2025. He anticipates sitting for the CPA exam upon completion of his degree. He is a member of the Wall College of Business’s Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and has earned recognition for being named to both the President’s and Dean’s lists. Chris provides support within the auditing and tax departments of the firm.


Katherine Fuller

With over three decades in the accounting field, Katherine is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public accounting, corporate controllership, international telecommunications, tech startups, and non-profit organizations. This varied background provides her with insight and hands-on expertise invaluable to our small business clients, focusing on tax preparation and consulting. Katherine graduated from SUNY Empire State with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and a Masters in Historic Preservation from Goucher College.
